Daily Northeast Region Eggs
Prices are steady. The undertone is weak. Asking prices for next week's
deliveries are trending lower on all sizes. Supplies vary by location and
are usually moderate to heavy. Offerings are adequate to ample. Retail
demand slows. Food service demand is light to very light. Market activity
is slow to moderate. Eastern region breaking stock offerings are moderate
to heavy for a mixed, but mostly light demand. Spent hen offerings are
moderate to heavy for current processing schedules.
